The Public Works Department invites applications for the following position:
(12 month contract)
Post holder will clean and maintain the public beaches and accesses, parks, cemeteries and the central business district. Including the removal of debris and clearing of underwater portions of boat launching ramps, docks and jetties. Also, clean and maintain public bathroom facilities at the beaches and parks.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills - Post holder should possess a high school or trade school diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in landscaping and maintenance of jetties, ramps, park/playground equipment. The post holder should be capable of carrying out general maintenance, landscaping, and operating light equipment and have the ability to lift and move bagged debris and equipment weighing 75lbs. He/she should have a valid CI Group 2 Driver’s License.
Preference will be given to suitably qualified and experienced Caymanians
